When towing an enclosed trailer, it is important to be aware of the overhead clearance required to ensure the trailer does not come in contact with any bridges, boom gates, carports, tree branches etc.. Our enclosed trailers require a clearance of 3 Meters. This rules out the possibility of towing the trailer through many areas, such as under car parks, fast food drive-thru’s and under common house roller doors.  Other clearance hazards include: Tree branches, house eves, verandas etc.

RAMP SAFETY

Whilst ramps are very useful for ease of loading, they can also add extra danger to the loading of a trailer. The ramps can become very slippery when wet and is not recommended for use in wet conditions. The trailer must always be attached to the towing vehicles tow ball whilst loading and unloading. This will prevent the trailer from moving and causing potential damage. Make sure the towing vehicles brakes are on Watch your head No person is to ever drive in the trailer. Ensure the ramps are up and secure
